Whiskey Rebellion Weekend - July 21, 2013

On this year\'s anniversary of the Whiskey Rebellion, members of the Bradford House joined the soldiers of Wayne\'s 4th Sub-Legion to recreate the confrontation at General John Neville\'s House at Bower Hill. This also marks the first time we have had representation of the slaves who fought for Neville at Bower Hill.

Holidays at the House - November 20, 2011

On November 20, 2011, visitors were invited to experience the holidays in a different light with candlelight tours of Woodville Plantation. The celebrations of an 18th century Christmas came to life with costumed guides, holiday displays and traditional decorations.

Woodville, the John and Presley Neville house, is Southwestern Pennsylvania’s principal link to the late 18th century, interpreting the time period of 1780-1820 and documenting the lives of the three families that resided there, the Nevilles (1775-1815), the Cowans (1815-1835), and the Wrenshalls (1835-1975).
