Smithing is among the world's oldest occupations, tracing back to the ancient Hittites in 1500 BC. While developing through the ages, a blacksmith was often very highly regarded within their community, even sometimes taking up leadership roles.
Learn of the history and the occupation itself from our blacksmith as he wields his hammer at the forge.

House tours will also be commencing from 1-4pm.

Admission is at the door
$5.00 per adult
$3.00 per child age 6-12
FREE for children under age 6.

The Home of John and Presley Neville, circa 1780

Woodville, the John and Presley Neville house, is Southwestern Pennsylvania’s principal link to the late 18th century, interpreting the time period of 1780-1820 and documenting the lives of the three families that resided there, the Nevilles (1775-1815), the Cowans (1815-1835), and the Wrenshalls (1835-1975).
