Surviving the 18th Century – Disease, Diagnosis, and Treatment

October 9 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

*THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED FOR OUR 2021 SEASON*

Medicine of the centuries past has long been a curiosity of many. On October 9, local historian and author, Jonathan Klemens takes us through the treatments and methods of medicine of the 18th century. His talk will cover medical theory and virtually all common therapeutic modalities for 18th C American colony medicine. There will also be a display for those in attendance to peruse.

This event will take place in the Neville House Parlour on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 7PM. Due to COVID restrictions, we do have to limit audience attendance more so than in years past and masks will be required while indoors.

An option to attend virtually on the Zoom platform will also be offered. If you attend virtually, please allow 1-3 days for your login to be sent to you. We also ask that those attending virtually login at 6:50PM in order to allow the presenters to let you in.
